Gary A, there is a utility by Javawa called GMTK that will move an installed map from one computer to another ... no need to redownload or reinstall. You can find it here: http://www.javawa.nl/gmtk_en.html .
I found the saved installation files (on my Win7 laptop) in C:\USERS\%username%\AppData\Local\Temp\IMG as was posted in that old topic.

There is an installer feng xiaogang file called CNNANT2014_40Update.msi that I could run. Has anyone tried running that? On my Winxp machine when I downloaded the maps to the computer it put the maps in C:\Documents and settings\All users\Application data\Garmin\Maps and MapSource found them automatically, so you may have the maps in the wrong place for Basecamp to find them.

Yeah, what I was asking about was "Save installation files" feng xiaogang to the 1st PC, then copy those files to a 2nd PC in order to "Install map to computer" on the 2nd PC. Turns out, the time it takes to copy the files between PCs, install the maps on the 2nd PC and then log into MyGarmin to unlock the maps on the 2nd PC doesn't save much, if any, time.
