Food every city with 100% renewable energy food truck manufacturers sources without an increase in costs for consumers, according to you is a minor problem? The answer is definitely "yes" to Cincinnati, Ohio, where officials are working on a plan that would allow the city to be crossed only by renewable electricity already this summer.
The "Queen City" is moving toward a portfolio of renewable sun, through a plan of aggregate energy in collaboration with regional energy suppliers. In Ohio, local communities are permitted by law to bring together citizens, encouraging them to buy energy and demand lower prices for natural gas and electricity.
Cincinnati has decided that its aggregation should take another step forward, and demanded that energy suppliers as includessero quote the cheapest and cleanest electricity available. The city council has urged the administration to choose suppliers that offered food truck manufacturers only renewable energy.
If it works, the officials could make this city the largest in the United States to be supplied 100% by renewable energy sources - a significant change considering that currently 85% of electricity comes from coal Cincinnati.
Public opinion seems to be swinging in the region with regard to sources of clean energy. About 100 people were in favor of the initiative at the recent public meeting. Greenpeace slid the slogan "Cleaner food truck manufacturers is Cheaper" on an airship that flew over the entire city, to raise awareness of the disasters associated with fossil energy, estimated at 200 deaths annually, 313 strokes, and 3200 cases of asthma attacks in community.
"The factor that has the greatest impact on our carbon footprint is the way we get electricity," said Larry Falkin, director of the city council on environmental quality. "This is probably the biggest opportunity that we will have in the coming years to reduce the environmental impact caused by coal in Cincinnati."
City officials currently are in the process of issuing requests for proposal to suppliers food truck manufacturers of energy to meet their electricity needs. If the responses do not include 100% of the sources without an increase in costs, city officials could structure the project in such a way that every consumer can choose between the cheapest form of electricity, or the completely supplied by renewable sources.
