這是去年6月11日去Washington DC的遊記，這是賦歸的火車之旅的第一篇，也是DC遊記的倒數第二篇，也是我的火車商務艙初體驗。那天下午約1點45分，在Washington Union Station的Amtrak第K26號門入場，火車是2點2分準時在DC起站發車，下面照片是從K26號門進入，要搭一段往下的電扶梯到月台，電扶梯上面的天花板。
這是這段火車的車票，從Washington, DC到New Haven, CT，車子的班次是North East Regional 94，因為這次的旅行有Washington International Competition的主辦單位Friday Morning Music Club贊助DC往返的旅費跟在DC的住宿費，加上之前在DC搭過車子的經驗，非常多的搭車人潮，加上美國火車普通艙沒有劃位，先搶先贏，總覺得上車之後整個車廂都塞滿了人，大家也在不斷地找座位，所以這次這段我就大膽地訂了比較貴的商務車廂。
椅子下面還有踏腳架，可以看一下我跟前面座椅的相對位置，我覺得商務車廂跟普通車廂最大的差別就是位置，很明顯加大的左右跟前後方距離的座椅，讓位置坐起來更舒適。我在想如果是超長程的商務車廂，這種位置距離應該可以躺平了吧，還有像我這種瘦小的人坐這種商務車廂真的有點奢侈，這似乎比較適合美國size的那種旅客。
大約五個小時的時間，火車抵達了New Haven, CT。下面照片就是這列火車停在New Haven Union Station月台上的樣子。火車停在紐約市的Penn Station的時候，一大堆旅客都下車了，繼續北上的旅客並不多，所以火車就變成每站都停的慢車。抵達New Haven約晚上七點多（不要懷疑，美國夏天的晚上七點多太陽還沒下山），沒有誤點太多。
